By integrating clinical practice, teaching and scientific research, with the surgical treatment of thyroid, breast and peripheral vascular diseases as the main disciplinary characteristics, and focusing on multidisciplinary collaboration, the department reaches the domestic advanced level in terms of the early diagnosis, comprehensive treatment and minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of thyroid, breast, peripheral vascular and hernia abdominal wall surgical diseases.

It currently has 2 chief physicians, 1 associate chief physician, 2 master's supervisors, and 8 doctors and postgraduate students. It provides expert outpatient services and specialist outpatient services for thyroid, breast, and peripheral vascular diseases, and sets up minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment rooms for breast diseases.
