Responsibilities:
The discipline currently has 1 professor and chief physician, 5 associate professors and associate chief physicians, and 4 masters; is equipped with specialized equipment such as insulin pump, HbA1c analyzer, thyroid function analyzer, neuropathy examination and treatment instrument, fundus camera, ABI detector, and body fat analyzer as well as numerous shared equipment of disciplines.
The department has complete diagnostic methods and provides standardized treatment for endocrine and metabolic diseases. Specialty: It has in-depth research on the diagnosis and treatment of various types of diabetes and acute and chronic complications such as ketoacidosis, diabetic macrovascular lesions, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic ophthalmopathy, diabetic neuropathy, and diabetic foot and has also accumulated a wealth of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, endocrine exophthalmos, adrenal diseases, obesity, pituitary diseases, menopausal syndrome, osteoporosis, gout, etc. In particular, it has invented new technology and new means to treat metabolic syndrome by applying acupoint catgut embedding, organic vegetarian diet combined with micro intestinal peptide meal replacement powder, and other non-pharmaceutical means.
