Job Responsibilities:

Department of Ophthalmology currently has 14 medical staff, including 6 physicians with senior professional titles. It is equipped with LDV femtosecond laser, VISX STAR S4 excimer laser, Bausch & Lomb micro-incision phacoemulsification vitrectomy instrument, Zeiss OCT, surgical microscope, Zeiss YAG laser, 532 fundus laser, Sirius anterior segment analysis system, Zeiss IOL-master biometer, Zeiss computer vision instrument, Topcon fundus fluorescence angiography system, anterior segment camera system, automatic comprehensive optometry unit, Topcon corneal endothelial cell counter, Aviso A/B ultrasonic apparatus, corneal topographer, UBM, visual electrophysiological instrument, computer optometer, non-contact tonometer, and more advanced equipment. It is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of various ophthalmic diseases.

1. Femtosecond (full laser) treatment for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism;

2. Excimer laser treatment for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism;

3. Micro-incision (1.8 mm) phacoemulsification combined with implantation of monofocal, multifocal, and astigmatic intraocular lens.

4. Surgical treatment of complicated cataract: Traumatic cataract and cataract with lens subluxation.

5. Reduction of retinal detachment.

6. Micro-incision (23 g) vitrectomy for retinal diseases including vitreous hemorrhage and diabetic retinopathy.

7. Diagnosis and treatment of various primary glaucoma, combined surgery for glaucoma and cataract, and surgical treatment of refractory glaucoma

8. Laser treatment of fundus diseases: Diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, and more;

9. Fundus fluorescein angiography: Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and various fundus diseases;

10. Ophthalmic plastic surgery: Correction of various congenital eye deformities; implantation of simulated movable artificial eye;

11. Diagnosis and treatment of strabismus and amblyopia, ophthalmic medical optometry, etc.

12. Surgical treatment of ocular trauma: Microscopic suture for corneoscleral laceration; microscopic repair for canalicular laceration;

13. Others: Diagnosis and treatment of viral keratitis, fundus diseases, and optic neuropathy.
