Responsibilities:

The department is divided into a number of clinical sub-departments such as the Department of Oral Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Prosthodontics, and Department of Orthodontics. There are a total of 2 professors and chief physicians, 3 associate professors and associate chief physicians, including 2 doctors and 17 masters. Following advanced diagnosis and treatment equipment has been well equipped: Kavo dental chairs, Siemens chairs, Kavo caries detectors, piezosurgery devices, dynamic systems for root canal therapy, oral pantomography machines, teeth implant machines, pen-type sand blasters, root canal measuring instruments, pulp vitality measuring instruments, air film laminating machines, ultrasonic cleaners, magnetostrictive periodontal therapy instrument model surveyors, grinders, high-frequency electrotomes, and hot gutta-percha root canal filling instruments. Physicians are skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of various oral diseases.

The discipline serves as an oral health quality control center and a periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment center in Hangzhou.
