The kick-off meeting of the 2022 "Pioneer" and "Leading Goose" R&D research project of Zhejiang Province—"Research on the Key Technologies for Precise Typing of Obesity and Intervention with Medicinal Food Products"—was successfully held in the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University

On the afternoon of June 2, 2022, the kick-off meeting of the 2022 "Pioneer" and "Leading Goose" R&D research project of Zhejiang Province—"Research on the Key Technologies for Precise Typing of Obesity and Intervention with Medicinal Food Products" was successfully held in the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University.

More than 20 people attended the meeting, including Professor Yi Ping from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Professor Xu Qiuran from Hangzhou Medical College, Professor Feng Lijun from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Professor Hu Jiang from Zhejiang Xinhua Hospital, Professor Ni Yan from the National Clinical Center of the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Professor Zheng Jusheng from the School of Life Sciences of West Lake University, Director Zhang Hangjun from the Research Office of Hangzhou Normal University, President Zhang Xingwei and Vice President Shi Junping from the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University (School of Clinical Medicine), project leader Professor Li Li, key project members Professor Wang Xin, Associate Researcher Li Jinjun, Assistant Researcher Li Xiaoqiong, Assistant Researcher Wang Huiqin, and key project members. The meeting was chaired by Director Zhang Hangjun.

President Zhang Xingwei, on behalf of the hospital and the School of Clinical Medicine, congratulated the successful registration of the project and expressed his gratitude to all the experts and professors for their presence, and said that the hospital, as the project operator, would provide comprehensive and multifaceted support for the smooth development of the project. Director Zhang Hangjun introduced the significance of the project, the university's support for the project, and hoped that through the investigation and study of the experts and the efforts of the research team, and the precise and close cooperation, and solid work of each project operator in the implementation of the project, the project will be completed with high quality.

On behalf of the research team, the project leader, Prof. Li Li from the Center for Preventive Treatment of Disease and Health Management of Hangzhou Normal University, introduced the project background, research ideas and foundation, research content and objectives, and work progress and plan. The experts fully affirmed the significance of the project and the research idea, discussed in depth the specific implementation plan for the project, and communicated with the members of the research team. They pointed out the possible difficulties encountered in the research objectives, project binding indicators, and quantitative indicators of the project. They emphasized that the research should be done solidly and realistically, and answered questions raised by the members of the research team; in the end, the experts made three suggestions for the project team and unanimously agreed that the project should be started and organized as soon as possible.

The kick-off meeting was a great boon to the research team, and what was discussed at the meeting was closely related to the future implementation of the project, laying the foundation for the smooth and solid progress of the project.
