Responsibilities:

The department has 2 associate chief physicians and associate professors, and 2 doctors and masters, who are proficient in performing most class 3 and class 4 operations in the classification catalogue for interventional operations. The department has rich experience in interventional therapy of acute cerebral infarction, cerebral aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformation, carotid artery stenosis, peripheral vascular stenosis, great vessel stent, abdominal aortic aneurysm, liver cancer, lung cancer, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, facial hemangioma, disc herniation, pelvic congestion syndrome, prostatic hyperplasia, low back and leg pain, etc. In 2015, the department performed more than 500 operations, and more than 80% of them were above class 3.

Department of Vascular Intervention is a characteristic discipline of the hospital and the only independent department in Hangzhou municipal hospitals that engages in vascular intervention technology.
