Responsibilities:

Relying on the Clinical Medical College of Hangzhou Normal University and the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University, in accordance with the national strategic plan for the prevention and treatment of major diseases, and focusing on the scientific cutting-edge issues in the occurrence, development, and outcome of diseases, the Translational Medicine Platform has built a systematic, large-scale and integrated research platform suitable for translational medicine research to focus on solving the key problems in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases and to translate into practical technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases.

The Translational Medicine Platform consists of a basic research laboratory for cardiovascular diseases, a laboratory of hepatology and metabolism, a laboratory of oncology and immunity. The special room for scientific research is over 2,000 m2, with scientific research equipment that is worth more than RMB 20 million. Its academic leaders and academic backbones hold important academic positions in various national academic organizations, and 68% of personnel in the research team have a master's or doctoral degree or above. It has formed an integrated basic and clinical research platform to carry out original and integrated innovation, thus providing a scientific basis and translational medicine plan for the prediction, early warning, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of major diseases.
