In the early morning and noon of March 15, the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University dispatched a total of 200 medical staff in two batches to Renhe Community and Jianqiao Community to provide nucleic acid testing. Among them, the team members who went to Renhe Sub-district successfully tested more than 6,000 people.
In the academic lecture hall at noon, after re-training before departure, everyone hurriedly grabbed a few bites of food and then got ready to go.
Among these people were the six medical and nursing staff from the First People's Hospital of Guangyuan and People's Hospital of Zhaohua District of Sichuan Province. They were currently here on exchange. On the evening of March 14, they handed in a heartfelt petition and volunteered to participate in the outgoing nucleic acid testing efforts, saying, "Hangzhou is our second home, and it is our duty as medical personnel to fight against COVID-19." Such a move is a testament to the deep friendship between the people of Sichuan and Hangzhou in the context of China's East-West collaboration.
